We ask that all scouts who sign up have an active parent or guardian also participate with them in Cub Scouts. Scouts will have more fun with an active adult participate than without. Whether that is being a registered leader, an active parent, help plan an event or simply help keep the scouts safe. It takes a village for a successful pack to operate. Everyone involved in Pack 650 is an unpaid volunteer scouter.
Lions (K) and Tigers (1st grade) are required to have an "adult partner" with them at all times per national's Guide to Safe Scouting Barriers To Abuse.Â
Wolves (2nd grade) thru Arrow of Light (5th grade) parents are encouraged to join their dens in activities and are required to stay on property per the Cubmaster.
Every registered leader has had a background check, approved by the Charter Organization Representative, and completed the annual S.A.F.E. Guarding Youth Training (SYT).
"Kids are like a mirror, what they see and hear they do. Be a good reflection for them" - Kevin Heath
