Mr. TJ joined Pack 650 in 2022 as a Cub Scout Dad and has been a leader in multiple dens, master of ceremonies, advancement chair, and treasure. He completed his ticket, earning his Wood badge beads, and became a Wood badge leader T14-99-24 from the Owl patrol. While a youth member, he earned his Eagle scout award in 2000 at Troop 876 Wilmington Island Savannah, GA.
The Cubmaster is the leader of the Pack and 1 of the Key 3 leaders. He or she is responsible for guiding the work of other Pack leaders and serving as the program advisor to the pack (PALM: Parent And Leader Meeting) committee. The Cubmaster is a recruiter, supervisor, director, planner, and motivator of other leaders and youth.
Miss. Sara joined Pack 650 in 2024 as a Cub Scout Aunt. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast and brings tons of new ideas from that northern country called Wisconsin.
The Committee Chair oversees the pack (PALM: Parent And Leader Meeting) committee and unit leaders, ensuring all functions are delegated, supported, and completed. The Committee Chair is 1 of the Key 3 leaders of the Pack.
Mr. Scott is a previous Den Leader (2013-2019) and Cubmaster of Pack 650 (2014-2019). He is also the founding Scoutmaster of Troop 625B (2017-present) who meets at the same time and location as the Pack. As a Den Leader of the Webelos (4th grade) and Arrow of Light (5th grade) cub scouts he utilizes the Troop (11-17 year olds) as Den Chiefs to help teach scouting to these cub scout patrols and lessen the transition of moving up into a scout troop in the 5th grade. He completed his ticket and became a Wood badge leader earning his Wood badge beads. As a youth member, Mr. Scott earned his Eagle scout award in 1995 from Springfield Troop 290.
The Chartered Organization Representative (COR) plays a crucial role in representing the organization within the local council and Scouting America. The COR serves as a direct liaison between the unit and the chartered organization overseeing the unit operations, approving leaders, and advising in council and district assistance. The COR is 1 of the Key 3 leaders of the Pack.
Mrs. Julie has been a supportive Cub Scout Mom since 2022. She teaches new family basics of camping she calls "Fake it till you make it" every September. Mrs. Julie is a former Girl Scout Cadette and taught horseback riding at Girl Scout Camp Misty Mountain in Armuchee, GA.
The New Member Coordinator is crucial for sustaining strong membership, ensuring families feel welcomed and committed to the pack, building relationships with new members and their families, and collaborating with the pack (PALM: Parent And Leader Meeting) committee's membership plan.
